Sean worked with my son during the later half of the year for my son's 12th grade AP Physics C course. Do you tutor middle school math?

Grades 6 through 8 introduce the concepts everything later depends on — equations and variables, proportions and percent, rational numbers, data and statistics, and the first real work with functions and algebraic reasoning. These have to be solid before high school. Miss them and the gap compounds for years.
Most students are taught to memorize steps in place of understanding them. We derive every equation we use, because a student who understands the derivation isn’t memorizing anymore. They’re reasoning — which is what the top high school math tracks are selecting for.
