Jake Gerhardt is a math and physics tutor at Alexander Tutoring. He holds a B.S. in Applied Physics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he worked as a research assistant in astrophysics and materials science, and an A.S. in Physics from Santa Rosa Junior College. Jake tutors math from elementary school through calculus, along with physics and chemistry. Since 2021 he has also taught science and math at Pacific Preparatory School, building individualized programs for gifted and differently abled students from 7th grade through high school, and he coaches executive functioning skills such as study habits, time management and stress management.
